MediVoice Recruit are highly experienced in optimising and improving the results of studies in progress and enjoy working to bring any project to a positive conclusion within its set timeframe, regardless of pre-existing rocky starts. In 2020, our team met with a healthcare client looking to conduct a set of London-based focus groups centred on a diabetes device. Their brief requested recruits for a number of small focus groups set to consist of different users within specific criteria, including glucose monitoring systems, alongside attitudes to diabetes and technology.
Our client planned to hold a set of 4 focus groups, but prior to contacting us, had worked with an alternative recruiter that had only secured between 1 and 3 people per group, and 8 recruits in total over a 6 week period using another recruiter. We set out to accelerate this slow progress, and achieve the best possible results.
The timeframe for this recruit was relatively tight, with our team receiving the brief on a Thursday afternoon, and the study starting the following Tuesday. In order to ensure success, we worked efficiently alongside the original recruiter and utilised our nationwide panel of registered respondents – all whilst maintaining direct contact with the client.
We were able to recruit a further 9 focus group participants in alignment with our client’s strict criteria within just 5 days – helping ensure the success of their study.
Our client was very pleased with the results of our recruit and emailed to say: “You did a great job with limited time and we are deeply appreciative. To be honest I wish you had taken this on in the first place.”
