Our client is conducting some research into a new autoinjector device that is being developed for the treatment of Myasthenia Gravis (MG) patients of the future. To ensure that the device is easy to use we would like to invite MG patients to have the opportunity to provide their opinions and feedback on whether they feel this device may be easy to use. The study session will involve participants simulating the use of an autoinjector, the devices do not contain any needles or medication and participants will not be injecting themselves or anyone else. At the end of the session, participants shall be asked for their thoughts on the design of the device and asked to identify any areas of difficulty, or anything they feel could be improved. It is really important to both our and client that MG patients are given the opportunity to give their feedback on the design of this device.
The study sessions will take place in London on 13, 14 & 15 March 2023, interview sessions will be a maximum of 60-minutes for which participants shall receive £80 for their time and opinions. If traveling from out of the area, our client would be happy to make a contribution towards travel. Alternative locations may be offered, so if you are not able to travel to London please do not let this deter you from applying.
If you would like to take part, please register your interest by completing the screening questionnaire linked here: Patients Questionnaire
If you know anyone who provides care and support to a family member or loved one with Myasthenia Gravis, we also love to hear their opinions and feedback. Please ask them to complete the questionnaire for caregivers which you can access by clicking here: Caregivers Questionnaire
Please note, we are looking for a number of Myasthenia Gravis patients and their family members/loved ones of anyone diagnosed to take part in this study, if you know anyone who may be interested in taking part we would really appreciate if you could forward details of this study to them. If we are able to include anyone following your introduction, we would be happy to pay you a referral fee of £20 or make a donation to charity for each person.
